The biggest risk our kids face on Halloween is the danger of being struck by a car. So to help keep kids safe, consider these precautions:
Stay in a group;
Apply reflective tape to costumes and trick-or-treat bags;
Use a clip on safety light after dark
Walk on well-lit streets and use sidewalks where available;
Cross the street as a group in crosswalks;
Don't cross between parked cars;
Don't assume that car drivers can see you;
Just because one car stops doesn't mean other cars will.
Keep it safe out there !
